  Staff are very friendly and helpful but on the day we went we ordered our meal, sat down with our drinks and then the seating area was swarming with flies. There were about a dozen large flies swarming around our heads as we had our meal. We asked the staff if they had any flyspray or could do anything about it and were told that no, they didnt and apologised that they hadnt warned us when we ordered our food about the fly problem. Its a shame because I had been here before and it was good value for money and dog friendly, but the fly problem was horrible

  A large group of us went to eat and have a few drinks, there were unfortunetely many issues with the meals, late service, starters and mains coming out together, part of our group had their starters and mains before we saw a meal, the server was rushed off his feet on his own, but did a great job regardless and we all felt sorry for him, this was a saturday night and more staff was needed, we were told that it wasnt their usual chef and one of our group had worked that out as apparently its usually brilliant here, however the food was pretty good when we got it.
  
  On paying we explained that we were not too happy and the lady couldnt be more helpful, she issued some refunds and really took ownership of the problem, we would definetely return and eat here again as I feel that this was simply a bad night for them, all in all I would reccommend visiting here and having a cosy meal with friends and family.
